Brad executes the strategic vision for the organization and works to expand VOW’s services and outreach to serve veteran households across Wisconsin better.
Before coming to Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin, Brad served 25 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. During his service, Brad was on multiple deployments and received the Bronze Star.
Following retirement from the Air Force in 2015, he worked for four years as a County Veterans Service Office for Racine County. In that time, led the day-to-day operations of the Veterans Services functional team and served as the Veterans Benefits Certifying Officer for the County of Racine, overseeing a team of five claims and benefits specialists to meet or exceed services for the 13,000 Veterans in Racine County
In 2019 Brad was asked to join the University of Wisconsin Parkside as a Veterans Service Support Manager. In this role, he served as the primary point of contact, advocate, and resource for prospective and current veterans, active-duty military personnel, and military dependents seeking educational attainment at UW-Parkside and acting as the Veterans Benefits Certifying Officer for the University. He was also Chair of an advisory committee comprised of faculty and staff from across campus for strategic planning and program assessment, policy development and interpretation, faculty/staff trainings, budget management, and compliance monitoring.
Brad received an MBA from Liberty University in 2017 and a BA in Human Resources Management and Services from Ashford University, where he graduated Cum Laude. He is happily married and a proud father.
