Darren Kruse

Darren joined the United States Navy one month after high school.

Darren was shipped off to his first command, the U.S.S Camden (AOE-2) Fast Combat Support Ship located at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard located in Bremerton, WA. Darren then spent the remaining 16 years of his enlistment at various sea and shore commands including Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, the U.S.S. Arkansas (CGN-41) Guided Missile Cruiser-Nuclear, U.S.S. Camden (AOE-2) Fast Combat Support Ship-2nd tour, Bremerton Naval Base, Base Security Forces-Bremerton Naval Base, U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) Aircraft Carrier-Nuclear, Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton, and Bangor Naval Bases as housing liaison for base operations. Darren ultimately participated in various operations that included Operation Desert Storm, Naval Base Security Forces-Bremerton pre and post 9/11 assignments, Support and Relief efforts after the Thailand Tsunami of 2004, Operation OIF/OEF Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) battle group, and various joint exercises and campaigns in the Pacific and Indian ocean AOR’s.

Darren has a Bachelor’s degree in business management and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. In his leisure time, Darren likes to spend time with family and friends, is an avid movie buff, and travel.
