A Community Standing Together – Spring 2026

The strength of Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin lies in the incredible network of neighbors, local businesses, and community organizations who step up to support our nation's heroes. From hands-on site work and major fundraising efforts to collecting thousands of pounds of essential items, our community continually demonstrates what it means to serve those who served. We are deeply grateful to recognize these outstanding partners for their dedication and generosity. Thank you for being Heroes to our Heroes!

Community & Youth Organizations

  • Gifford School 8th Graders: For putting together thoughtful care packages to brighten the days of our veteran residents.
  • Gateway IT Students: For donating their time and skills to lead a Computer & Internet Class for our residents, helping empower them with essential digital skills.
  • Red Apple School: To the students, staff, and families for an incredible food drive that brought in 342 pounds of macaroni and cheese for our Marketplace!
  • Carver Military Academy & Death Dealers AirsoftFor their massive joint food drive, collecting an astounding 2,767 pounds of food to help keep our shelves stocked.

Veterans Services, Civic Clubs & Faith-Based Groups

  • Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR): For bringing festive joy to our residents through their donation of wonderful Easter Baskets.
  • FTW WI Motorcycle Club: For their incredible generosity and financial support through a $3,800 donation toward our veteran programs.
  • Chapter 529 Modern Woodmen of America (Terry Casper): For their generous $2,000 donation presented during the Burlington Bowl event to support our mission.
  • American Legion Post 310 – RacineFor donating $500 in gift cards to assist our Marketplace and help veterans secure essential daily items.
  • VFW Post 7308 – Pleasant Prairie: For their continued faithful partnership, donating a total of over 265 pounds of food across two recent spring drives.
  • AMVETS Post 911 – Kansasville: For their impactful $3,400 donation dedicated to helping support our homeless veterans and village programs.
  • Hope City ChurchFor spending time on-site volunteering their hands and hearts to serve our community.

Local Business & Labor Partners

  • Floyd's Towing: For providing critical VOW Bus Support to keep our transportation operating and serving veterans.
  • Edstrom Industries (Kristi Dangutis): For hosting and leading the Burlington Bowl fundraiser, raising an extraordinary $25,000 to empower our veteran support initiatives!
  • IBEW 430For their powerful support of our mission through a generous $2,500 donation.
  • The Walsh Group: For providing vital hands-on support and expertise with the installation of our new tiny homes, expanding safe shelter for veterans in need.
  • Johnson Financial Group: For giving back through hands-on volunteer work to support our daily operations and campus needs.
  • Midwest Market & Cota Music: For teaming up to host a fantastic food drive and fundraiser to raise funds and bring in essential supplies.
